Before you call.
What should I have ready when I call?
Your exact location, a safe callback number, the vehicle’s make and model, and a description of the problem. Let us know if the vehicle rolls and steers, if you have keys, and where you’d like it taken.
Can I choose the repair shop or destination?
Tell us your preferred destination when you call. We’ll work through transport arrangements with you, subject to any police or scene directions and the destination’s availability.
How much will the tow or roadside service cost?
View our MTO published maximum rates for towing and storage. Pricing depends on the vehicle, distance, access, equipment, recovery work and any storage or after-hours attendance. Call for a breakdown for your situation and confirm the charges before authorizing service.
Can you help with my insurer or rental arrangements?
We can help coordinate vehicle and pickup details with your insurer, repair shop and rental provider. Your insurer or provider determines coverage, payment and rental eligibility; these are not guaranteed by a tow request.
Can I just come to the yard to collect my vehicle?
Vehicle releases and yard pickups are by appointment only. Please call first to confirm release paperwork, identification, owner attendance, belongings, licence plates and carrier requirements.
Does the online request book a truck automatically?
No. The form prepares a text that you review and send from your own messaging app. It does not reserve a truck or appointment. For urgent assistance, call 416-301-0820.
